Status quo, potential and added value of big data
Digital technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) or machine learning, the growing number of electronic devices and their networking are fueling data growth exponentially. With digitization, not only the quantity, but also the speed and variety of data has increased enormously. This variety of data, called big data, includes structured data, semi-structured and unstructured data such as multimedia files, text files or data from social networks.
